Five JEMS Games Teams to Compete Tomorrow

Twenty-five teams came from all over the U.S. and Canada to try their skills in a fast-paced competition. Today, just five of those teams learned they will go on to prove their abilities in front of a crowd on Friday night.

The five teams that will advance to the JEMS Games finals, which will start at 6 p.m. in the Baltimore Convention Center. They re, in order, as follows:

  1. Fire Department New York
  2. REMSA, Nevada
  3. FirstHealth Regional EMS, North Carolina
  4. West Des Moins EMS, Iowa
  5. Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority, West Virginia     

In the finals, the teams will run through a real-life scenario that will test their clinical knowledge while challenging them with stressful conditions. JEMS Games attendees will receive continuing education credits for watching the competition.
